|
I am not currently aware of any CGI problems.
Many of my printable minis come from special programs I've written called CGI scripts that
let you choose what you want to print. Every once and a while something happens that stops them
from working for a while.
"Reload" this page and look at the image to the left. If it loads, then the scripts are
working and the minis should work fine. If it doesn't load, please
email me
or come back and try again later. If
I'm aware of a problem that I can't fix right away, I'll make a note of it at the top of this
page. But please remember, if the problem is bad enough that I can't get to the internet,
I won't be able to post a message!

What's Wrong with My Wallpaper?
Q. When I click on an image, I get a page that looks something like this:

A. Don't panic! There's a simple explanation.
| The Problem: |
|
The wallpaper is just a bunch of repeating images with no spaces between them. Since the whole point here is to print them out, I've set the width to fix on a normal piece of paper. If the width of your browser window isn't as wide enough to show you the full width, it's going to break the last of the images onto a new line. This makes every line look like a T.
|
| The Solution: |
Don't worry! the solution's simple. Just print the page. Since it's set for the standard paper width, it should print just fine.
Want to see what it's really going to look like before you print? Try maximizing your browser so it fills the whole screen. If you're using at lease 640 X 480 screen resolution it should look just fine.

Here's the Problem with a Small Screen
|
Same Page Viewed Full Screen

Either way it prints like this:

Q. Why is does different patterns make different sized sheets of wallpaper?
A. The smaller the image, the more it repeats on the page. I repeat every image as many times as possible, but the larger images often produce a smaller page. The solid colors make the largest page.
Q. Why not set the background image on you page to be the wallpaper? Wouldn't that solve all of these problems?
A. If only it were that easy. First off, most browsers don't print the background image. And even the ones that can (Internet Explorer 4 gives you that option) wouldn't produce sheets that repeat whole patterns, so you couldn't but them up edge to edge.
Q. Why is the pattern sideways?
A. I turned the patterns sideways so the paper prints longer, instead of taller.
